Pricing
Simple, transparent fees. You get exactly what you ask for.
You set the goal. You get the goal.
When you create an event on Crowdify, you set the amount you need — your funding goal. Crowdify then calculates all fees (platform + Stripe) and builds them into the ticket price automatically. If your event reaches its goal, you receive exactly the amount you asked for. No surprises, no deductions.
How ticket prices are calculated
You set your funding goal
The exact amount you need to run your event (e.g. venue, artists, equipment).
Crowdify adds fees on top
The 12% platform fee and Stripe processing fees are added to determine the total ticket revenue needed.
Ticket price is set automatically
The total (goal + fees) is divided by the number of tickets to give each ticket its price.
You receive your full goal
Once funded, Crowdify and Stripe take their fees from the ticket revenue, and you get exactly what you asked for.
Fee breakdown
Crowdify platform fee — 12%
Covers the platform, payment holding, organiser verification, and support. Built into the ticket price — not deducted from your goal.
Stripe processing fee — 1.75% + $0.30 per ticket
Standard Stripe Australia card processing rate. Goes directly to Stripe, not Crowdify. International cards may incur a small additional fee from Stripe.
If the event doesn't fund — $0
No fees. No charges. Cards are pre-authorised but never charged — every hold is released automatically. No money moves.
Worked example
An organiser wants $500 to run their event and sets a goal of 50 tickets.
| Your funding goal | $500.00 |
| + Crowdify fee (12%) | $60.00 |
| + Stripe fees (1.75% + $0.30 × 50 tickets) | $23.75 |
| Total ticket revenue needed | $583.75 |
| ÷ 50 tickets | $11.68 per ticket |
| You receive | $500.00 |
Stripe fees are approximate and may vary for international cards. Free events have no fees.
Common questions
Do I get less than my goal?
No. Fees are added on top of your goal and built into the ticket price. If your event is successfully funded, you receive the exact amount you set as your goal.
When are fees charged?
Only after your event reaches its funding goal. If the goal isn't met, nobody pays anything.
Do attendees see the fee breakdown?
Attendees see a single ticket price. The fee breakdown is visible to organisers on the event dashboard so you always know exactly where the money goes.
Are there any upfront costs?
No. Creating an event and listing it on Crowdify is completely free.
What about refunds?
If the event doesn't fund, refunds are automatic and free. If a funded event is cancelled, ticket holders are refunded in full.
Ready to go?
