If the ticket goal isn’t reached, the event doesn’t go ahead. Don’t worry — your card was only pre-authorised, never charged. The hold is released automatically and no money moves.
Because your card was only pre-authorised (not charged), there’s nothing to refund. Stripe releases the temporary hold immediately, and any “pending” line on your statement typically clears within 3–5 business days depending on your bank.
Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe, a global leader in secure payments. Your card is pre-authorised (a temporary hold), not charged. If the event succeeds, the hold becomes a charge and the organiser is paid. If it fails, the hold is released and no money was ever charged.
Yes. Tickets can be transferred or resold securely through the Crowdify app, ensuring both you and the new attendee are protected.
No. The price you see is the price you pay. All platform and processing fees are already included in the ticket price. (If the event doesn’t reach its goal, no charge is ever made — so there are no fees to refund.)
Every event is screened by our team before it’s published, and organisers must pass checks before receiving any funds. While no system is 100% fraud-proof, Crowdify takes multiple steps to make sure events are safe and trustworthy.
Yes! Crowdify isn’t just for paid events. You can host free events too — from a family Christmas dinner to a workplace lunch — and use our platform to manage invites and RSVPs.
Your ticket is stored digitally in the “My Tickets” section of the Crowdify app. No printing or emails needed — just open the app on the day of the event.
